Rob MacCavett and his active imagination live in the Arizona desert with his wonderful wife and an old red Jimmy pickup truck. He’s not a bowler and has never smoked a cigar in his life, but appreciates good Mexican food and the art of W. C. Fields, Mel Brooks, Sid Caesar, David Niven (as an author), and cartoonist Bill Mauldin. He’s the father of two adult children, but he’s considering disowning the one who told him that Flaming Harry Sweeney “isn’t very good, Dad.”
Rob’s currently considering topics for his next novel, including the improbable escapades of Richard Milhous Nixon’s twin sister Ina Rae, who was secretly given away at birth.
